CANTON, NY – The Nazareth women's golf team completed its first invite of the season on Sunday, finishing in sixth place at the St. Lawrence University Fall Invite held at Oliver D Appelton Golf Course.  Nazareth ended the two-day invite with a 763.
 
Ithaca was the champion at 654, followed by Cortland (686), Union (689), St. Lawrence (707), St. John Fisher with 749, Nazarreth with 763, and SUNY Canton.
 
Kayla Ringler followed up an 85 (+13) on Saturday with an 89 (+17) to finish +30 for the tournament. That earned her 13^th place.
 
Ava Malvaso impored six strokes on day two with a 91 (+19) and finished in 20^th place with a two-day total of +44.
 
Bethany Wineburg was 22^nd after shooting a +27 on Sunday. Kara Kopyt was 30^th with a two-day total of +67.
 
Nazareth will compete next on September 11, taking on SUNY Geneseo at Locus Hill Country Club.
