ROCHESTER, NY – Kelly Flanagan scored both goals to help lift the Nazareth field hockey team 2-1 over Washington & Jefferson in the Empire 8 title game on November 4, 2007. The championship is the only in the field hockey programs history.

Trailing 1-0 in the second half, Flanagan netted her first goal off an assist from Jodee Magistro at the 50:10 mark to even the score at 1-1. She eventually netted the game-winner with less than 10 minutes to play and was later named the MVP.
