Top 100 Moment: March 23, 2013 - Carissa Risucci Takes 2nd in 200-Yard Breaststroke at NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships

ROCHESTER, NY – Carissa Risucci '13 capped off a tremendous swimming and diving career with a 2nd-place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke at the NCAA Championships on March 23, 2013. That all-american honor was the ninth of her career (200-yard breaststroke x4, 100-yard breaststroke x3, 200-medley relay x1, and 400-medley relay x1).

She ripped off a time of 2:14.90 in the 200-yard breaststroke to break her own school record. Risucci was inducted into the Nazareth Hall of Fame in 2021 and still holds the school record for the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke.
