LONG ISLAND CITY, NY – Freshman Tyler Manchester qualified for the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Zone Championships with a second-place finish at the Regional Show in March and came away with a fourth-place finish in the Zone Championships held at the North Shore Equestrian Center on Long Island Saturday.

Manchester competed in the Limit Flat division and drew a ride on Legato – a horse from the Stony Brook University farm. The fourth-place finish was out of 10 riders in his class.

The last Nazareth student-athlete to finish as high as fourth was Olivia Quattrociocchi in 2022. Alexi Przybylski placed first at the Zone Championships in 2019 to advance to the National Championship competition.
