ROCHESTER, NY - The Nazareth women's hockey program came out of the gates fast in its inaugural game, dropping Anna Maria 5-1 at Bill Gray's Iceplex on October 26, 2018.
Nazareth dominated the game, finishing with a 62-13 edge in shots. After falling down 1-0, the Golden Flyers responded with the last five goals of the game.
Freshman Taylor Hudon netted the first-ever goal for the program with assists to Christina Darby and Hannah Tulchinsky.Â
Mikaila Rubin scored Nazareth's first-ever power play goal which proved to be the game-winner. Hailey Redders, Emily Kromer, and Keeley Rose each scored in the game for the Golden Flyers.Â
