ROCHESTER, NY - Brendan Epstein became the first and only Empire 8 men's cross country individual champion for Nazareth on October 20, 2007 at Saratoga State Park. The Moravia, NY native won by nearly :20 seconds as he finished the 8-kilometer course in 25:36.08.

Fellow teammate Nick Stenuf finished in third place in 26:02.54, while Aaron Sirtoli also earned first team all-conference after taking seventh among Empire 8 runners (26.19).

Nazareth finished third overall in the Empire 8 standings.
