ITHACA, NY – The third and final day for the Ithaca Bomber Invitational wrapped up on Sunday and the Nazareth women's swimming and diving team secured a sixth place finish with 630.5 points. Ithaca was the champion with 1772 points.
Nazareth's quartet of
Peyton Buell,
Lauren Sanford,
Emily LeFrois-Heath and
Ellen Burroughs were able to swim to a seventh place finish in the 200-yard medley (1:53.27). Later in the night,
Caroline Coleman, LeFrois-Heath, Burroughs and
Alexis Eisler placed sixth in the 400-yard freestyle relay.
Elizabeth Tripp was able to take third place on the 1-meter board with a score of 4:56.05.
LeFrois-Heath was 10
th overall (5:20.22)in the B finals of the 500-yard freestyle, while Coleman was 12
th in 5:21.80. In the C Final,
Maura Miller was 23
rd overall in a time of 5:43.61.
Buell was in the B final in the 200-yard backstroke and finished in 13
th place (2:18.22).
Sanford was 18
th in the C final of the 200-yard breaststroke as she clocked a 2:41.05.
Burroughs picked up 13
th place in the 100-yard freestyle (54.72) in the B final and Eiser was 21
st in the C final (57.19).
