ROCHESTER, NY - Taylor Robey was a dominant swimmer for the Golden Flyers from 2017-2022, collecting three Empire 8 Swimmer of the Year honors in 2018-19, 2019-20, and 2021-22. She was also the conference rookie of the year in 2017-18.

During her tenure, Robey was a 10-time champion in individual events at the Allegheny Empire Conference Championship meet. She was dominant in the 50 and 100-freestyle events, winning four times each (2021-22, 2019-20, 2018-19, 2017-18). The Hurley, NY native also won the 200-yard freestyle in 2021-22 and 2018-19.

In addition to her individual accolades, Robey was a four-time 200 medley relay winner at the Allegheny Empire Championships and two-time winner for both the 200 and 400 freestyle relays. She was also a part of the winning 400 medley relay in 2021-22. 

Robey qualified for the NCAA Championship meet four times but was only able to swim at the national meet twice with the other years (2019-20 and 2020-21) being canceled due to Covid. She culminated her career with a fifth place finish in the 50-yard freestyle, her highest ever finish at the national meet. She was 20th in the 100-yard free and 38th in the 200-yard freestyle. In 2018-19, she was 22nd in the 100-yard freestyle, 35th in the 50, and 40th in the 200. In all, she was a four-time all-american - 2022 (50 freestyle), 2021 (50 and 100 freestyle), 2020 (50 freestyle).
