ROCHESTER, NY - Since the inception of the Empire 8 in 1999, the track record for the Nazareth women's soccer program has been nothing short of remarkable. In that span, the Golden Flyers have won 13 Empire 8 titles and went to the NCAA tournament 13 times.
Nazareth won the first three E8 titles in 1999, 2000, and 2001 before being crowned co-champions four-straight years with Ithaca. The Golden Flyers stood alone again in 2006, before a 6-year hiatus with the next title coming in 2012, another co-championship with Ithaca. Once again in 2014, Ithaca and Nazareth were co-champions.
The next championship for the Golden Flyers came in 2021, a 3-0 win over St. John Fisher. Watch the full video highlights below.
