ROCHESTER, NY - Lynne Stever of the Nazareth women's soccer team from 1983-1987 was a goal scoring machine, netting 98 during her career which was the NCAA record according the Intercollegiate Soccer Association of America.
Stever, from Webster NY, scored 27 goals as a freshman and 26 as a sophomore before missing the entire 1985 season due to a knee injury. She came back in 1986 to record 19 goals and capped her career in 1987 with 26 goals.
