ROCHESTER, NY – Despite efforts across multiple events, the Nazareth University women's swimming and diving team lost to Hartwick College Saturday afternoon 166-130.
Graduate student
Grace Kanaley, freshman
Kate Millson and
Alexis Eisler, and senior
Caroline Coleman won the 400-meter freestyle relay with a time of 4:19.27, about 12 seconds quicker than second place.
Juniors
Emily LeFrois-Heath and
Peyton Buell took first and second place in the 200-meter IM, with times of 2:32.32 and 2:38.20 respectively.
LeFrois-Heath also finished first in the 100- and 200-meter butterfly with a 1:07.89 and 2:36.80.
Buell notched a win for herself in the 200-meter backstroke with a 2:37.52.
Kanaley finished first in the 100-meter backstroke, with a final time of 1:09.76.
Graduate student
Elizabeth Tripp continued her success on the diving board, wining both the 1-meter and 3-meter events, with scores of 257.70 and 268.55 respectively.
The Golden Flyers will face off against the University of Rochester on Saturday November 16 at the Speelge-Wilbraham Center.
