BROCKPORT, NY- The Golden Flyers defeated the SUNY Brockport Golden Eagles in a conference matchup Wednesday night.
Beni Luyindula and
Tyler Warmington with their first goals of the season helped the Golden Flyers to a 2-1 victory.
Nazareth is now 7-2-2 and Brockport is 4-5-2.
Brockport possessed most of the first half against the Golden Flyers.
Drew Decker and
Jack Lannon were able to create opportunities for Nazareth but were unable to put the ball in the back of the net.
In the 36th minute, Brockport scored on the Golden Flyers leading 1-0.
Brockport out shot Nazareth 6-3.
The score was 1-0 (Golden Eagles) at the end of the first half.
Nazareth entered the second half stronger and applied more pressure on the Golden Eagles.
Gibson Spector had a great shot on net in the 66th minute of the game but could not get it past the Golden Eagles goalie, but instead earned a corner.
