Top 100 Moment: 2019 - Tennis courts dedicated to 20-year head coach Annette Shapiro

ROCHESTER, NY - In 2019, Nazareth dedicated its tennis court to longtime head coach Annette Shapiro. Shapiro coached the Golden Flyers men's and women's tennis teams for 20 seasons from 1985-2004.

A dedicated mentor to student-athletes during her tenure, Shapiro guided the women's tennis team to Empire 8 titles in 2002 and 2002 and was named coach of the year in 2003.

On the women's side, Shapiro was 184-108-1 over her 20 seasons and on the men's side she was 181-223-4.

Shapiro was inducted into the Nazareth Sports Hall of Fame in 2005.
