KEUKA PARK, NY – Senior Kayla Ringler shot a 16 over par 88 Wednesday to take medalist honors at the Keuka College Fall Invitational as she led the Nazareth University Women's Golf team to a fourth-place finish overall.
SUNY Geneseo won the team scoring with a combined +118 and William Smith was second at +129. Host Keuka was next at +153 and Nazareth was just two strokes back in fourth place at +155.
Ringler led all scorers with her +16 as she edged Caroline Gannon from William Smith who fired a +17, 89.
Sophomore Kara Kopyt was next for the Golden Flyers as she tied for 12th with a +40, 112 score. Sophomore Grace Colangelo was a stoke back in 14th with a +41, 113. Freshmen Sabrina Schultz (+58, 130) and Meghan Hicks (+62, 134) rounded out the scoring for Nazareth.
The Nazareth women will compete Thursday in the Utica Invitational.
