GENESEO, NY – In another non0conference game for the Nazareth University Field Hockey team, SUNY Geneseo scored four times in each half to deliver an 8-0 decision to the Golden Flyers Wednesday night at Geneseo.
Nazareth (0-5) surrendered just one goal in the first quarter but Geneseo (4-2) rebounded to score three times in the second period to take a 4-0 lead into the halftime break.
In the second half, the Knights added on a pair of goals in each quarter for the victory.
Three goalies for Nazareth combined to make 12 saves with sophomore Madilyn Satter leading the way with seven stops – all in the first half. The seven saves moves her past the 100 career saves milestone.
Nazareth starts Empire 8 conference play Friday night at Keuka against the Wolves.
