VOORHEESVILLE, NY – Sophomore Holly Ebert finished up with a 46 on the back nine as she led the Nazareth College Women's Golf team with a round of 98 (+25) as the Golden Flyers finished third as a team at the Northeast Women's Golf Conference Tournament at the Colonie Country Club.
Ebert had a birdie, two pars and three bogies in her final nine holes. Her strongest run started with a par at the par 3, 12th and another par on the par 5, 13th before she fired a birdie on the par 5, 14th.
Nazareth finished third with a team score of 404 (+112). SUNY Cortland had the medalist golfer and the top team score as the Red Dragons finished +68 (360). Suffolk University was second at +89 (381). The Golden Flyers finished a stroke ahead of St. John Fisher (+113, 405) and five strokes ahead of Utica College (+117, 409). Husson College rounded out the team scoring with a +145 (437).
Ebert was 12th individually and sophomore
Danielle Caringi was 13th just one stroke (+26) behind Ebert. Junior
Olivia Minor was two strokes back at +28. Freshman Kayla Ringer shot a +33 and junior Keelan Paquette rounded out the Nazareth scoring with a +43.
