ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Nazareth's women's golf team closed out its first-semester schedule over the weekend as the Golden Flyers placed second in their own invitational tournament. Saturday's first round was contested at the Links at Greystone and Sunday's final round took place at Irondequoit Country Club.

Cortland, featuring the first five individual finishers, easily captured the team title with scores of 337 and 326 for a 663 total. Nazareth had scores of 372 and 369 for a 741 total. St. Lawrence had scores of 420 and 438 for a total of 858. William Smith and St. John Fisher also competed but posted incomplete scores.

Olivia Minor and Kayla Ringler finished in a tie for seventh place individually to pace the Golden Flyers. Minor shot an 87 at Greystone Saturday, then 93 Sunday at ICC. Ringler went 91 and 89 for a 180 total.

Holly Ebert fnished in 11th place with scores of 94 and 90 for a 184 total. Danielle Caringi finished 14th with 100 and 97 for a 197 total.
