Luis Vazquez amassed a match-high 11 kills against the Mavericks in Nazareth's second match of the day.
With the victories, the Golden Flyers improve to 10-13 overall while Potsdam fell to 4-12 overall with the loss and the Mavericks dropped to 9-11.
In the Golden Flyers' match against Potsdam, Nazareth amassed hitting percentages of .478, .310, and .333 and held the Bears to attack percentages of .250, .095, and .000 to control the match. In addition to the kills from Crosby and Rhea, senior

Jonathon Jackson totaled an additional 15 kills. Sophomore
Jason Proud recorded a match-high 24 assists as the Golden Flyers' primary setter in the first two sets. Freshmen

Alexander Culp combined for 14 assists between the end of the second set and the third set.
Defensively, Nazareth frustrated Potsdam at the net as four players finished with multiple blocks, led by Crosby with a solo block and pair of assisted blocks. Proud added a solo block and assisted block while Dillon and Rhea finished with two assisted blocks apiece. Vazquez finished with a team-high four digs. His serve overwhelmed the Bears, too, as he finished with four service aces.
In the victory over Medaille, the Golden Flyers totaled 25 kills in the first and third set. The Nazareth defense, meanwhile, held the Mavericks to eight total kills and 14 total hitting errors in those sets. In the second set, Medaille edged the Golden Flyers in hitting percentage, yet Nazareth took advantage of 10 service errors by the Mavericks. With the set tied 18-18, Medaille committed its ninth service error to give the Golden Flyers the slim lead. Nazareth scored the next three points to take command of the set. The points were scored on assisted block by Dillon and Rhea, a service ace by Vazquez, and a kill by Jackson.
In addition to Vazquez's 11 kills, Crosby and Jackson recorded eight kills and seven kills, respectively. Dillon added six more kills for the Golden Flyers' attack. Similar to the match against Potsdam, Proud was Nazareth's primary setter and tallied a match-high 31 assists.
Defensively, freshman
Seth Terzo accumulated a match-high 14 digs, and Vazquez had 10 digs. Crosby was a force at the net with two solo blocks. Dillon had three assisted blocks, Rhea had two assisted blocks, and Cardone had one assisted block to stymie the Mavericks' offense.
The Golden Flyers are in action again on March 18th when Nazareth welcomes St. John Fisher to the Kidera Gymnasium for a UVC match at 7 p.m.
