ITHACA, N.Y. -- A 22-stroke improvement Sunday enabled Nazareth's women's golf team to inch up to fifth place in the team standings at the Ithaca Invitational.
With sophomore
Deanna Tinch carding a second-round score of 86 Sunday to place 13th individually, Nazareth had a score of 413 for a two-day total of 848. Hamilton won he team title with a two-day total of 661. Ithaca (686) was second, followed by Union (695), Cortland (696), Nazareth (848), St. Lawrence (857), Keuka (897) and Delhi (inc.).
Tinch shot 92 Saturday to check in as Nazareth's top finisher with a total of 178.
Sara McCall shot 95 on Sunday to finish in 27th place with a 202 total.
Olivia Dowdle (110 for a 223 total) and
Keelin Paquette (122 for a 245 total) also competed.
