OSWEGO, N.Y. -- Visiting Nazareth erupted for a season-high six goals Tuesday in a non-conference field hockey match at Oswego as the Golden Flyers downed the Lakers, 6-3.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  •  Nazareth rallied from an early 2-1 deficit to score three straight goals to close the first half on top 4-2.
  • Senior Jessica Livesey scored two goals, including one on a second-half penalty stroke to pace the Golden Flyers' offense.
  • Sophomore Molly Calpin and senior Sarah Dugas each scored their first career goal.
  • Junior Jennifer Hilts scored her team-leading fifth goal of the season in the first half.
  • Sophomore Alexandra Livesey also scored and sophomore Lydia Dewart had two assists as Nazareth improved to 4-3 overall following its second straight win.
  • Calpin scored the first goal of the game after deflecting a pass from Dewart, then Oswego countered with two goals to take a 2-1 advantage.
  • Hilts, Jessica Livesey and Alexandra Livesey each scored within a span of 3:36 and the flurry resulted in a 4-2 Nazareth halftime advantage.
  • Oswego scored early in the second half to trim the lead to 4-3, but Jessica Livesey converted a penalty stroke less than two minutes later and Dugas delivered off a pass from Dewart with about 10 minutes left.
