ResultsROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Visiting Hartwick handed Nazareth its first swimming and diving defeats Saturday as the Hawks outscored the Golden Flyers in both the men's and women's meets. Hartwick won the women's meet, 177-122 and the men's meet, 166-125.
In the women's meet, senior
Kimberly Pedrotti and freshman
Desiree Kline each won two events. Pedrotti was first both breaststroke events. She won the 100-meter in 1:19.78 ansd the 200 in 2:54.63. Kline helped Nazareth finish 1-2-3 in both diving events. She won the 1-meter with a score of 224.50 and the 3-meter with a score of 193.85. Junior
Katie Kempf was second in both events and junior
Marissa Senior was third in both.

Cameron Hess was first in the 800-meter freestyle (9:44.50) and second in the 400-meter (4:45.61). Hess was also third in the 200-meter freestyle, touching in 2:18.24.
Erika Holland notched a second-place finish in the 100-meter breaststroke in a time of 1:22.30.
Nazareth's 200-meter medley squad of Pedrotti,
Danielle Meeker,
Elizabeth Carro, and
Brittany Heffler raced to a second place finish with a time of 2:14.06, less than three seconds behind Hartwick.
The Golden Flyers also finished second in the 200-meter freestyle relay, as Heffler,
Kenna Hartmann,
Shannon O'Malley and
Annamarie Policht clocked a 1:58.76.
Hartwick's Aron Zhang broke the Nazareth pool record in the 200-meter IM with a time of 2:12.26, surpassing the time of 2:13.80, set by Hartwick's Luis Santiesteban two years ago. Nazareth's Alex LaPoint finished a close second in that race with a school-record time of 2:13.81.
LaPoint won two other races for the Golden Flyers as he captured both breaststroke events. He won the 100-meter in a school-record time of 1:08.06 and later finished first in the 200-meter with a time of 2:32.09.
Other Nazareth winners were freshman Robert Draper in the 800-meter freestyle (9:01.94), senior Dan Burke in the 100-meter backstroke (:59.35) and sophomore Zach Fink in both diving events. He took the 1-meter event with a score of 183.90 and the 3-meter with a score of 194.70. Freshman Alex Hoyt finished second in both diving events with scores of 178.85 in he 1-meter and 175.50 in the 3-meter. Burke also finished second in the 200-meter backstroke in 2:08.29.
Draper also finished second in the 400-meter freestyle in a time of 4:25.03.
Matt Leverich (200-meter freestyle), Rob Coatsworth (100-meter breastroke), Gannon Connors (50-meter freestyle), Sean Doyle (100-meter freestyle), and Andrew Battaglia (100-meter butterfly) each swam to third place finishes in their respective events.
Nazareth's relays each finished in second place with LaPoint, Burke, Doyle, and Connors registered a 1:51.18 in the 200-meter medley, while Burke, Connors, Doyle and Leverich clocked a 1:41.31 in the 200-meter freestyle.
