Jennifer Lachell kept pace Sunday on day two of the William Smith Women's Golf Invitational as she posted the second-best score in the field to finish in fourth place individually. Lachell shot an 84 on the par-72, 6,097-yard layout at Clifton Springs Country Club to represent the Golden Flyers. Combined with a 92 on Saturday, Lachell finished with a 176 total.
Laura Gay of St. Lawrence was the individual winner with scores of 87 and 82 for a 169 total. Ithaca's Indiana Jones (85-86--171) and William Smith's Kara Capstraw (86-88--174) were the only golfers to finish ahead of Lachell.
St. Lawrence captured the team title with a two-day score of 721.
Sophomore
Grace Cardamone also competed for the Golden Flyers and shot rounds 124 and 134 for a 258 total.
