CORTLAND, N.Y. -- Nazareth continued its women's golf season over the weekend as the Golden Flyers competed in the Martin & Wallace Invitational at Cortland Country Club.

A shoulder injury to Nazareth senior Alyssa Moffat left the Golden Flyers with only three golfers for Sunday's second round, so they were unable to post a team score. The Golden Flyers were in sixth place in the 10-team event following Saturday's first round with a team score of 393.

Sophomore Anouluck Chanthabandith paced the Golden Flyers by placing 27th individually with rounds of 90 and 97 for a 187 total. Junior Jennifer Lachell finished in a tie for 31st place with scores of 102 and 91 for a 193 total and sophomore Meaghan Porter also competed with rounds of 96 and 106 for a 202 total.

Methodist University won the tournament with a team score of 611 over the two-day event. Ithaca was a distant second with a total of 630. Elizabeth Blomgren of Methodist had rounds of 72 and 76 to take medalist honors with a 148 total.
