MINNEAPOLIS -- Senior Lauren McKinney swam to a 26th-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly Thursday as she continues to compete in the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships at the University of Minnesota.

McKinney posted a time of :57.84, slightly slower than her qualifying time of :57.75, and did not advance to Thursday evening's second session. McKinney also placed 25th Wednesday in the 200 IM with a time of 2:08.70. Freshman Carissa Risucci finished 41st in the same race Wednesday with a time of 2:12.14.

Diver Lindsey Buzard placed 20th with a score of 338.30 in 1-meter diving. She competes again Saturday in the 3-meter competition.

Both swimmers will be in action Friday. McKinney will compete in the 200 butterfly and Risucci will race in the 100 breaststroke.
