Lauren Glaser provisionally qualified for the NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships Saturday as she placed second in the 800-meter run at the NYSCTC meet at the University of Rochester's Fauver Stadium.
Glaser broke her own school record with a time of 2:14.99, a fraction below the provisional time of 2:15. Glaser was second behind Brockport's Amanda Elias, who ran 2:14.65.
Other top finishers for Nazareth included freshman
Brittany Dodd, who was seventh in the 100-meter hurdles (:16.09); junior Vicki Ryan, who was sixth in the 400-meter hurdles (:66.74); and freshman
Kristi Custer, who was 10th in the triple jump (10.28 meters / 33 feet, 8 3/4 inches).
The NCAA meet is May 22-24 at Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
