Kristi Custer broke the Nazareth school record in the triple jump Wednesday as Nazareth competed at the University of Rochester Invitational for women's track and field.
Custer's distance of 10.28 meters (33 feet, 8 3/4 inches) broke the record of 10.10 meters set by Jaimie MacDonald three years ago.
Other highlights included a third-place finish for freshman
Brittany Dodd in the 100-meter hurdles (:16.46), a second-place finish for freshman
Megan O'Connor in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (13:39.26); and a third-place finish for sophomore
Jill Egmond in the pole vault (2.80 meters / 9 feet, 2 1/4 inches).
