• A four-year standout for Nazareth in men’s basketball, Wein was a tremendous offensive player who amassed 1,791 career points
• Helped Nazareth improved from a 7-18 record in his first season to a mark of 19-8 and an NCAA Tournament berth in his final season (1997-98)
• Averaged 23.0 points per game in 1996-97 to lead Nazareth to a record of 18-10 and the ECAC Upstate Championship
• Graduated with an array of school records, including most career free throws (472), most points scored in a season (645) and highest single-season scoring average (23.0)
• Honored as a third-team Academic All-American in 1997-98 and was a first-team East Region all-star selected by the National Association of Basketball Coaches
• Played one season of soccer and was Nazareth leading scorer in 1998 with eight goals and two assists
