• A longtime supporter of the Golden Flyers’ athletic program, Sr. Theresa Daniel was a loyal advocate from the days of the athletic program’s the initial founding until her death in 2003
• A native of Dansville and a 1950 graduate of Nazareth, Sr. Theresa Daniel joined the Nazareth College staff in 1976, serving in Student Affairs as Assistant Director of the Otto Shults Community Center
• Transferred to the position of Payroll Supervisor in the Finance Division in 1982 and stayed there until her retirement in 1995
• Said Nazareth Vice President for Finance Steve LaSalle: “Sr. Theresa was an important part of the college staff for many years. It was a joy to be in her company and to experience her sense of humor, which she brought to every task. She was an ardent supporter of various student activities, in particular our athletic teams.”
• Served on several athletic committees, including the search committees for the hiring of men’s basketball coaches John Beilein, Bill Nelson, and Mike Daley
• Served as chaperone and vocal supporter for the men’s and women’s tennis team for their annual spring trip to Hilton Head
