* A four-year men’s lacrosse standout, Ryan McDermott was a three-time All-American as a midfielder
* Earned first-team All-America honors in 1998 and named Division III Midfielder of the Year
* Scored game-winning goal in overtime to lift Nazareth to a 15-14 win over Washington College for the national championship in 1997
* Selected to compete in the North-South Division III all-star game in 1998
* Ranks among Nazareth’s all-time scoring leaders with 128 points on 82 goals and 46 assists
* Helped Nazareth to a 55-7 four-year cumulative record and four straight trips to the national championship game, including NCAA titles in 1996 and 1997
