• A member of Nazareth's first men's basketball team in 1977, John Dansler was a four-year standout for the Golden Flyers
• A versatile player, Dansler averaged 14 points, 7.6 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game to lead Nazareth to a 15-4 record in its first season
• Served as team co-captain in each of his four seasons
• Finished his career with 624 rebounds for an average of 7.1 per game
• Named to the all-tournament team and helped Nazareth to a second-place finish at the Lincoln First Tournament in 1981
• Amassed 878 points and 388 assists over four seasons
