Sports Information Director 1986-2022

• Seil served as the Sports Information Director for 36 years from 1986-2022. He was named Assistant Athletic Director in 2005 

• Was witness to four national championships teams and more than 60 Empire 8 titles as Sports Information Director, responsible for record keeping/statistics, gameday stories and press releases, and media guides

• A true pioneer of the industry, Seil adjusted to the digital age as statistics transitioned to being input on computer software instead of through pen and paper. Digital changes included maintaining the Nazareth athletics website, social media, and live video/webcasting

• Responsible for inception of the Nazareth Sports Hall of Fame which began in 1995, serving as executive director

• Cited several times by the College Sports Communicators and the Rochester Press-Radio Club for various achievements and is a member of the Innovative Field Walk of Fame

• During tenure was “the voice of Nazareth” providing public address at all Golden Flyer home games and contributing play-by-play commentary for select webcasts
