• Starting point guard for the Golden Flyers’ men’s basketball team for two seasons, Convertino helped spearhead the team’s drive to NCAA Tournament berths in 1986 and 1987
• Averaged 12.3 points per game and shot better than 61 percent from the field in helping the Golden Flyers to a record of 23-5 in 1985-86
• Averaged 14.6 points and 5.4 assists per game in 1986-87 in helping Nazareth to a 22-6 record
• Named co-Most Valuable Player (along with fellow Hall of Famer Chris McCaffrey) of Chase Scholarship Tournament in 1986 and named to the all-tournament team in 1987 as Nazareth won the championship both times
• Named MVP of Eastern Connecticut Tournament in 1986 and was a first-team choice to the Democrat and Chronicle’s All-Greater Rochester team in 1987
• Ranks among Nazareth’s all-time leaders in several statistical categories, including scoring average (13.6), field goal percentage (.536), free throw percentage (.794), and three-point field goal percentage (.475)
