* Jessica Brown was a four-year standout as a distance runner for the Golden Flyers and was the first female to compete in the NCAA Cross Country Championships in 2007
* Four-time team MVP in cross country and a two-time Empire 8 Conference all-star
* Finished fifth at the Empire 8 Conference meet in 2007 and 17th at the NCAA Atlantic Regional race to qualify for the NCAA meet
* Earned Atlantic Region all-star honors for cross country in 2006 and was a two-time Scholar Athlete award winner from the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association
* Excelled for the Golden Flyers in track and field with top times in the 1,000-meter run (indoors) and the 1,500-meter run (outdoors)
