• A four-year swimming standout, Taets graduated as a school record-holder in three events
• Ranks among Nazareth’s all-time leaders in three events – the 500 freestyle (5:12.48), the 1,000 freestyle (10:49.58) and the 1,650 freestyle (17:57.51)
• Was Nazareth’s team point leader three times and ranks among the all-time leaders with 1745 points
• Served as team captain three times and was twice recognized as team MVP
• Won 20 of 21 dual meet races and amassed 537 points as a senior in 1999-2000
• Won NYSWCAA titles in the 1,650 freestyle in 1999 and 2000 and competed in that event at the national meet in 1997
