• A standout attackman for Nazareth in men’s lacrosse, Atkinson was a member of Nazareth’s first team in 1986
• Scored 106 goals combined for the 1988 and 1989 seasons and ranks among Nazareth’s all-time goal scoring leaders with 135 career goals
• Earned third-team All-American honors in 1989 after leading the Golden Flyers with 50 goals
• Named first-team Empire Lacrosse League all-star in 1989
• Twice scored eight goals in a game during the 1988 season
• Helped Nazareth to its first two NCAA Tournament berths in 1988 and 1989
