* Betsy Carney was a four-year standout for the Golden Flyers in women’s lacrosse and a first-team All-American as a defender in 2006
* Named Empire 8 Conference Player of the Year in ’06 and was a first-team all-conference selection in ’05 and ‘06
* A two-time first-team all-region selection, Carney amassed 86 career points, including 24 goals and two assists as a senior in 2006
* Led team to a 14-0 regular-season record in 2006, including dominant wins over Utica and Elmira to win the Empire 8 title
* Helped the Golden Flyers to a 53-14 overall record, two E8 titles and three NCAA Tournament berths
* Selected to represent Nazareth in the North-South Senior all-star game
