• A two-time All-American goalie for the Golden Flyers in lacrosse, Wineburg helped Nazareth to the NCAA championship in 1996
• Nazareth won 28 of 29 games in Wineburg’s two seasons as a starter, including an unbeaten 15-0 season in 1996
• Earned a variety of accolades in 1996, including first-team All-American, Division III Player of the Year and MVP of the championship game
• Set records for most saves in one season (237 in 1996), best career save percentage (.674) and best career goals-against average (8.38)
• Selected Nazareth’s Defensive MVP in ’95 and ’96 and chosen to play in North-South Senior all-star game in 1996
• Served as an assistant coach at Nazareth for three seasons and became head lacrosse coach at Brockport in 2001
