Savage hit his 1000th point milestone in dramatic fashion in a 72-66 win over Hartwick on Friday night. Savage led the scoring with 31 points (13-21), six rebounds, two assists, and two steals. His 31st point was on a free throw with 17 seconds left in the game, which earned Savage his 1,000th career point on the button. Savage is only the 31st player in Nazareth history to earn the milestone.

On Saturday in a two-point loss to Sage on the road, Savage had another 30+ point game, scoring 32 points in 14-23 from the field and 2-3 from the arc. He also added seven rebounds, five assists, and a steal.
