Griffin was named Track Athlete of the Meet Saturday as Nazareth finished in fifth place at the Empire 8 Conference Championships at Ithaca. He set a meet record in winning the 60-meter dash in 7.09 seconds and later finished third in the 200-meter dash with a school record time of :23.09. He also anchored Nazareth's winning 1600-meter relay that finished first in 3:29.27.
