Sophomore Aiden Pavlek led the Nazareth Rugby team to the championship of the Nazareth GF 7’s Tournament over the weekend as the Golden Flyers defeated RIT, Colgate, LeMoyne and Univ. of Buffalo to win the crown. Pavlek had the game-winning try in a 12-5 win over Colgate and added a try in the win over LeMoyne to advance the team to the title match. The sophomore led the Nazareth defense that allowed just one try for the entire tournament.
