Senior Alexa Rizzo placed third overall on the 1-meter board at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships over the weekend in Greensboro, NC. The finish with a score of 416.35 was the highest finish for a Nazareth diver since 1985 when Kama Grattet won the national championship title. After placing in the top-8 in the preliminary round to secure a First Team All-American award, Rizzo improved her position five spots with six-dive championship final. She added a 21st place finish on the 3-meter board Saturday to cap the championship appearance.
