Sophomore John Pomykaj set his personal best height for the second consecutive meet and tied the school record as he cleared the 4.40-meter (14' 5 ¼") bar to tie the school record and place second in the event. He also had a personal best finish in the high jump as he cleared 1.66-meters (5' 5 ¼") to place 14th overall. He was 20th in the 60-metyer hurdles in 9.71 and helped the 4x400 relay to a sixth-place finish in 3:37.75.
