Nazareth dropped a pair of tough United Volleyball Conference matches last week, but Sargent reached a significant milestone by recording his 1,000th career kills in Saturday's four-set loss to front-running New Paltz. Sargent had 16 kills in a five-set loss at St. John Fisher last Wednesday and then had 11 kills against New Paltz. He became the seventh player in program history to reach 1,000 kills. The Golden Flyers compete Friday against NYU in the UVC playoffs.
