Nazareth College Athletics

Merriwether helped Nazareth to a second-place finish at the Empire 8 Indoor Track and Field Championships over the weekend as she was named Field Athlete of the Meet. She finished second in the triple jump with a personal-best leap of 11.04 meters (36 feet, 2 3/4 inches) and third in the high jump (1.56 meters / 5 feet, 1 1/4 inches) on Saturday. On Friday, she placed fifth in the long jump at 5.16 meters (16 feet, 11 1/4 inches). Merriwether will be in action this weekend as Nazareth hosts the All-Atlantic Regional meet at the Golisano Training Center.
