Ott, a senior defender, helped the Golden Flyers claim a pair of shutout wins last week to win their 11th Empire 8 Conference title in women's soccer. She was named tournament MVP as she spearheaded Nazareth's defense that limited semifinal opponent Hartwick to just eight shots in Thursday's 3-0 victory at Golden Flyer Stadium. Then, in Saturday's championship game against St. John Fisher, Nazareth recorded its 10th shutout of the season to improve to 10-6-3 overall and gain an automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament. Through 19 games, Nazareth has yielded less that one goal per game.
