Guzman won a pair of matches last Friday at St. John Fisher to lift Nazareth to a 6-3 victory over the Cardinals and clinching the top seed for this weekend's Empire 8 Conference Tournament. She teamed with freshman Claire Pullen for an 8-5 win at first doubles as the tandem remained unbeaten in Empire 8 matches. She also won 6-1, 6-2 at first singles to improve to 7-1 there. Nazareth plays fourth-seeded Houghton in the E8 semifinals Friday at 11 a.m.
