Johnson continued to excel for the Golden Flyers this spring as she qualified for this week's NCAA Championship meet in the long jump. Primarily a sprinter, Johnson has been competing in the long jump for less than a month, yet she finished third in that event at the All-Atlantic Regional Championships last week at St. John Fisher. She personal-best leap of 5.76 meters (18 feet, 10 3/4 inches) ranks her 13th nationally and placed her in the field to jump at the national meet on Thursday at 5 p.m.
