Bowers pulled off a unique double by winning both the 5,000- and 10,000-meter runs over the weekend as Nazareth finished third in the Empire 8 Conference Track and Field Championships at St. John Fisher. He posted a personal-best time of 32:53.89 in winning the 10,000 last Friday. He returned Saturday to take the 5,000 in 15:59.38.
