Nazareth College Athletics

Gabel averaged 19 points and 8.7 rebounds as Nazareth won its first three men's basketball games of the season. He posted a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds in a win over Elmira last Wednesday, then had games of 20 and 23 points in back-to-back weekend wins over Keuka. He shot 61 percent (22-for-36) from the field for the three games and 73 percent (11-for-15) from the foul line.
