Carle helped the Golden Flyers secure their first two women's hockey victories of the season as she participated in a pair of shutout wins over Utica. She scored Nazareth's first goal in Friday's 2-0 win over the Pioneers at the Bill Gray's Iceplex. Then Saturday in Utica, she had an assist as the Golden Flyers won 3-0. As a defenseman, she helped limit the Pioneers to 19 shots on goal on Friday and 20 on Saturday as Nazareth improved to 2-1. The Golden Flyers visit Chatham Friday at 3 p.m.
